K type open reversible inflatable life raft is apllicable for installing ships on internatilnal category A High Speed Craft
2.Standard of Open Reversible Inflatable Life Raft / Open Reversible Inflatable Liferaft
K type open reversibl inflatable life raft is in accordance with international Code Of High Speed Craft 2000(HSC) and the memorandum of inspection standard about High Speed Passenger Craft from Zhujiang water area to Hongkong S.A.R. co-signed by Maritime Safety Administration of P.R.China and Marine Department of Hongkong S.A.R.
3. Inflation method:
This is a type to hang life-raft at ship side by launching
equipment.go on board from ship's deck when inflate and to fall it
down on the sea by davit.In case of failure on davit launching
equipment,the life-raft is also designed to be inflated
automatically in the same way as throw-over type.
4. Max. Storage Height of Open Reversible Inflatable Life Raft / Open Reversible Inflatable Liferaft
The installation height is 10m from water surface.
5. Decription:
Each life raft shall consist of two separate buoyancy tubes. The
buoyancy of the tubes shall be ensured by dividing each into an
even number of separate compartments with safety valve and check
valve fitted on every separate compartment.
A righting strap shall be fitted under side the bottom of the life
raft can be up righted by one person if it inflated in an inverted
position.,
Each life raft shall be fitted with sufficient strength towing
arrangement.
Life raft shall be self inflatable type, fitted with a painter line
(30m).
Constructed from natural rubber coated nylon webbing, canvas cloth.
Inflatable life raft shall have a canopy to protect occupant from
exposure,
Life raft shall have two entrance and each entrance fitted with
boarding ladder, life raft shall inflate automatically.
